Raman Studios App
Privacy Policy

Raman Studios (“we”, “us”) built the Raman Studios app so you can edit and publish your website right from your phone. This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We do not sell your data, and the app contains no advertising.
Account information
You sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google. When you do, we receive your name, email address, and a unique account identifier, which we use to create your account, keep you signed in, and associate your edits with your website. Authentication is handled on our behalf by Google Firebase Authentication. If you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to hide your email address, in which case Apple provides us with a private relay address instead.
Content you create and publish
When you edit your site, the text, links, button labels, images, and any files you submit (for example, with a change or animation request) are stored so we can save your edits and publish them to your live website. This content is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Anything you choose to publish becomes publicly visible on your website.
Subscription and purchases
The Everything subscription is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive your subscription status (such as active or expired) so we can unlock editing and publishing, but we never see or receive your card number or full payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
How we use information
We use the information above to operate and provide the app, authenticate you, save your edits and publish them to your website, unlock the features your subscription includes, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use your content to train advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the app, who process data only on our behalf: Apple (sign-in and subscription billing) and Google Firebase, a Google service (authentication, database, file storage, and serverless functions). Their processing of data is governed by their own privacy terms.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above, when required by law or to protect our rights, or as part of content you yourself choose to publish to your public website.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and content while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and its associated content at any time by emailing ramsmov@gmail.com; we will delete it, except where we are required to retain certain records by law. Content already published to your live website remains until you change or remove it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including the security features provided by Apple and Google Firebase. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The app is a professional tool intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users
We operate from Canada, and our service providers may process and store your information in the United States and other countries. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
